Our new kit:

I thought we had the best ODI kit in the world, but this I don't like.
Canterbury of NZ have been making concerted efforts to **** up every single uniform they've got involved with over the last few years. I'm not surprised by this abortion.

New clothing sponsor, new kit, more money from people buying new kit.

So did they go with the hi-tech pants that put a better shine on the balls?

I agree, McCullum should bat at number 7 in tests. Not because the other guys need to gain experience batting higher, just because I think that he is best suited there.

I have no problem with Flynn batting at 6, why test him out higher if that is the position NZ want him to bat? Ryder will bat at the top of the order, which is good. I don't like Oram at 7 though, I think he should be batting 1 higher.
Flynn seems to have a decent enough technique and looks capable of batting higher than 6. If they stick with him at 6, I may be worried who can fill the spots above him. Oram is a decent number 6, but would be a little exposed at 5, imo.

He floats between 5/6 for his domestic team so I guess those are his two favoured positions

Bring Fulton back! He seems decent enough in the A team matches that have been played recently scoing better than most of the NZA team.

I agree that Fulton does look very solid when he bats but then he just gets out. They have given him so many chances none of which he has taken so I would probably say he will never get a go in the new hi-tech kit.

Err, what? He got injured, which was mainly part of the reason why he missed out, and when he came back he was shuffled around the order, batting very low in ODIs (not to mention his forays as opener in both forms).

Fulton has taken chances, but he's been unlucky and mismanaged. He's by far one of the best batsmen in New Zealand, and imo has the mental game to be successful. All he needs is a decent run in his preferred position.

He's back in form now, and he should play in Bangladesh imo, but I guess they won't call on him. Hopefully he'll be playing before the year is out (Australia/WI).

Fulton's problem was his technique went AWOL.

He kept getting bowled through the gate, mostly because his backlift was coming down from gully.

If he has sorted that out then he definitely would be at home in the NZ top order. I wouldnt mind seeing him have a few prolific games for Canterbury before he was recalled though.

I am really hoping for a big summer from Jamie How. He promises so much for mine but he just never seems to kick-on when he needs to. I dont think SOR is gonna last too long as his partner but it would be great to see that maiden century and hopefully a couple more from Jimmy this summer.
