The point on DC (apropos to nothing) is that all the cricket he’s been playing - a key man in franchise cricket & a key man in all formats for NZ - equals a lot of mental concentration & unrelenting commitment that must take its toll. Sure he loves batting but the mental pressure of performing at elite level month in and month out with not much in the way of breaks surely must have a debilitating effect psychologically. I’m concerned he may do a Trent Boult and start looking at who is really buttering his bread & start dropping out of formats for us.
