Mark Waugh thinking Pujara has been kicked out of the test side.

The knowledge of our former selector is amazing.

With this Southee thing, the commentators don't seem to realise that batsmen other than nos. 1-4 can score runs, right? His only top order wickets may have been Warner and Burns, but he also picked up Wade, Head twice and Paine twice, which leaves 5 tail-end wickets. And only the wicket of Lyon was of someone who can be considered a non-threat with the bat. The way they've been talking about him, you'd have thought that he'd done the equivalent of dismissing Lyon and Hazlewood ten times.

Yeah if they wanted to make the point they're making then 'wickets in the first 30 overs' might've been a fairer metric (and still shown how he hasn't taken new ball wickets) - leaving out numbers 5 and 6 does seem like convenient stats manipulation.

tastle has gotten better with every spell which is good for him.

henry is such an in between bowler. his natural length is too short to be a consistent threat but when he pitches it up it looks floaty. he bowls about the same length as mark gillespie used to but with away shape instead of gillespies in shape that followed the batsman.

if he is to ever push for a test spot again i would like to see him increase his average speed by 5kph and hit his natural length hard. he's taller than gillespie and less of a shoulder bowler so i think his injury risk is less, and gillespie at 140-145kph was the best bowler in the country in the period between bond and the current trio.

lol at edging for the double hundred. What can you do as a bowler but shake your head.

A very good and well organised batsman though, obviously.
