**Official** New Zealand in Australia 2015

Oh well, being in front was nice while it lasted. People are kidding themselves if they think NZ still have a chance in this. We'd need to bat 2 sessions to really have hope, and with both Saunter and Watling looking like getting out every 3rd ball, and the tail having batted rubbish all series I just don't see it.

As Quiney-ish as it sounds, I think we have to recognise how valuable the Voges 13 was. Saw out the tail end of the night session, where if Marsh and Marsh had been exposed, well, things could have been even worse than Channel 9's fav family contributing 6.

Beneficially, I was late to the ground so didn't have to watch either Marsh bat, but caught The Best of Nev #Winning.

No-one shook nevs hand after he got out
Shame, was an excellent innings.

Lyon though. Embarrassing. He knew he was out.

Here's the Guardian:
"Nathan Lyon thought he was out. New Zealand thought he was out. Everyone watching the replays thought he was out. Everyone, that is, except one person: third umpire Nigel Llong."

Seriously though that Hayden tweet is awful. He presumably doesn't have an issue when some random local cricketer who isn't State level is used as a sub fielder, so why is it any different? Are massage therapists not respectable people in his opinion?
That's clearly the subtext isn't it. Just yet more dire ultra-macho australian 'team culture' from the worst generation
I dunno, I'm a pretty big Haydos knocker, but his tweet was fine IMO. It is pretty ridiculous that he was the sub fielder in a test match. I don't think he meant it as a slight against the masseuse profession. I reckon he was just generally baffled how someone who isn't a cricketer is fielding for Australia. How many intense fielding drills would that bloke have done recently?

I think the issue was with #respect?

The guy plays second XI cricket for Victoria. Even has a page on Cricinfo.

As a former cricketer who busted his gut to win test matches he found it disrespectful that a masseuse was out there playing test cricket for Australia. Its not the worst opinion really, and Michael Slater was saying the exact same thing in the commentary box.

Bloke was also registered in the AFL draft, expect him to line up for the Essendon Bombers next year when their players are banned by WADA for being drug cheats.
