And I have no idea if he is actually from Tat North, I just have more loyalty to the location of Waitakere CC than the club itself.

OK, I shouldn't talk about things I have no idea about. I just know Keith Hay Park was always the last ground you wanted to see on the fixture list.

And after being mentioned just a few posts ago, Anaru Kitchen has announced his retirement. Excellent career for Auckland and Otago.
Huge loss for Otago, both broom and kitchen retiring. Time to recruit I guess.

I don't know why they don't persist with Josh Finnie and Llew. They both are quite good and if persisted they'll do well. It's almost like Otago rates lesser cricketers from other regions than their own.

Otago have good players coming through like Cumming, Parkes, Wheeler-Greenall, Cunhane. Also an opportunity you would think for someone like Leopard to get more games. Hopefully Foxcroft will eventually be allowed back into the country too.

There's definitely some talent coming through but don't expect them to be performing from day one. They look reasonable but not like a Nathan Smith who you knew was going to perform from day 1. Both Broom and Anaru moving on, Rutherford back in the mix and Duffy also back in the mix for BCs Otago needs some experienced established players.

Hopefully Foxcroft will be back this year but to qualify for black caps he had to do the cycle of three years all over again.

Worker, Rutherford, Michael and Doug Bracewell in the mix for white ball cricket vs Dutch with 12 players having to ipl?

It's going to be a tough one for the selectors to pick a team keeping in mind the two world cups not too far away. The one day world cup is in India as well so they'll have to pick players that can roll their arm as well.

Surely they'll be picking a 15 men squad from Worker, Guptill, Chapman, Young, fletcher, Cole, Ravindra, M Bracewell, Nicholls, Latham, CDG, Rippon, Kyle, Henry, Sears, Duffy, Patel, Sodhi, Clarkson, Ashok, Kuggs for Dutch series.

With respect to the Dutch, it's better for NZ if test prospects like Ravindra and Fletcher play Shield, even if it means dropping games to the Dutch.

Taylor is still available. Nathan Smith or Doug Bracewell might get picked as 2nd all-rounder seamer to cover Neesham (IPL). Milne also an option, probably for the same 3rd seamer slot as Kuggs / Sears / Duffy.

Edit, thanks nzfan, won't be Milne as he is off to IPL.

Milne off to IPL though? Yeah how did I forget Rosco, that's terrible
