I really dont like seeing Watson come in so low in the order, if they are gonna play him at all (which I wouldnt in the one day side if it was my call) then I'd wanna get him in early.
He's a slow starter and he's over-reliant on boundaries, not adept at hitting the gaps from the word go and pushing the singles which is what you really want from a number 7 in ODI's.

And one of the problems with the bowling so far on tour has been its been too one-dimensional and Watson hardly changes that he's another RFM with slightly less variety and control than the other three.

I really dont see the reasoning behind dropping Katich for him....
