Whats more impressive is that he has been measured using a professional speed camera, to actually set one up correctly is rare, maybe he borrowed that one the pakistani supporter brought to the ground that day shoaib broke the speed record but it was not official as the camera was dodgy....
Our school 1st XI coach is Les Lenham, former Sussex batsman and current Sussex batting coach - he arranged for our 1st XI to train at Sussex's facilities earlier this year apparently, and there was a speed gun against which our bowlers were tested. This 16-year-old guy has just been called up by Sussex U19s, and is a quality batsman, as well as being hailed by those who have seen him as one of the fastest bowlers of his age in the country. He could well go a long way, the name's Michael Quest, look out for him.

Incidentally, I've faced him in the nets, and to someone like me who's a) not very good and b) used to bowlers at speeds of less than 55mph, 75-80mph is very, very quick. :-O

Don't go building him up just yet, he's got a long way to go! He needs to start transforming his ability into big hauls of wickets - the pitches we play on don't help him much, if he got the chance to play on a couple of fast, bouncy tracks instead of the slow, low ones we usually get, he'd get more wickets, but for now, he needs to try and get more movement out of the ball, or at least that's what our coach says. His accuracy and pace are fantastic, but he's still got some improving to do, according to those in the know.

Run rate steadily increasing, I'm anticipating an explosion in the last 10 if these two stay at the crease.
Big fellow will be back on then. Do you want him to get all 10?

not bad by Vaughan, 5 overs for 29 by an extreme part timer is well done, 100 partnership up

Very good partnership under the circumstances - it looks as though Australia have a real gem in Hussey (mind you, he hit some huge scores over here last year)

About 5ft 10in, but still got some growing to do. Gets an extraordinary amount of bounce for someone of that height.
he would want to grow a bit more, under 6ft at international level could cause back problems trying to over-exert himself.
