That's what can happen to medium-pacers on this wicket today.

A shame Australia have selected no fast bowlers.... :p
All the Australian bowlers with the exception of McGrath are a bit quicker than Lewis

No, just continuing on from where Botham left off.

Mind you, I'm wondering....

With Gough in the England side and Pigeon playing for the Aussies, do zimmer frames damage the wickets much?

I believe they leave them built in at the crease for the Aussie batsmen as well.

Yes, but then Lewis is only a dobber really, isn't he? :p

I've got a 16-year-old mate who's quicker than McGrath (no, seriously, I do - he can bowl at 82mph), he's a trundler I tell thee. :D

Vaughan missing a runout chance there. Australia missed about half a dozen yesterday though. It looks as though the fifth bowler 'problem' won't materialise for England. If Collingwood and Vaughan get through ten overs before the 40th over, they could probably end up with 0/40 or so seeing as Australia are four down, maybe even pick up a couple of wickets.

That is the greatest catch I have EVER seen in that position.

Edit...

well, today, anyway. Got a bit carried away.
I think Brad Hogg may have something to say about that, I remember one sheffield shield match at the WACA in 1995................

And that one he caught with his lip in the nets in the West Indies the year before last - that was a belter.

I don't think Lewis will bowl his full complement today, i suppose it depends how Vaughan goes
Has i said earlier on this thread on a long term basis i dont think Lewis is the long term option in ODI for England he is a bit too slow for my liking and i can imagine him bowling in the subcontinent on those fantastic batting wickets or even Australia he could be destroyed. For me one he gets back t top form i would go for Anderson he has proved that he is a wicket-taking bowler with a SR of 32.2.

I still am wondering why England are still picking Solanki

My best ENG ODI team is:

Trescothick
Strauss
Vaughan
Pietersen
Flintoff
Collingwood
Jones
Giles
Gough
Harmison
Anderson
