Is Harmison as on fire as the commentator are saying? He seems to hit his straps like a bull.

Bowling rising snorters at the batsmen's body?!?! I love it....can't stop smiling. :D
I think he wants it really bad - after all, the mauling he received at the hands of the Australian press and supporters after the last Ashes series was so out of all proportion to the way he had performed (everyone remembers the debacle at the start of the tour).

Whatever might happen in the future, at the moment the phrase "They don't like it up 'em" springs to mind.

Possibly, but there's also a case to be made for giving Fred & Harmy another couple each. If we get another wicket or two we're really in the box seat.

Hussey looks like he's just playing to see them off at the moment. Not interested in anything wide.

Actually (climbs onto soapbox) this is a case in point for everyone who thinks taking wickets in ODers isn't important. 57-0 to 64-4. No difference at all then.....? (climbs off soapbox) :D
yeah, if it gets to the point now i can see the spinnners bowling some of those two's overs anyway

The Australian team is known for getting out of situations like this but they way things have been going thus far I dont have confidence in them doing any superb rescue acts.

Even if they get to 200 i am not even confident that Pigeon, Dizzy & Kasper can run through the England top order

He's not here.

Never is when Harmy plays well.

i hope clarke learnt from bangladesh and doesn't keep batting this defensively
Although Australia could have set a higher target yesterday, surely the blame for the defeat would have to fall at the feet of the bowlers. Fair enough, had they been chasing 280-300 things probably would have been different, but on any normal day, the expectation would be that the Australian bowlers should be able to dismiss the Bangladeshis for under 250.

IMO, Clarke has very little choice but to consolidate short-term here. We're only a couple of wickets away from the fat lady singing. And the English bowlers deserve a whole lot more care and respect than the Bangladesh bowlers do.

Listening to Botham's commentary was quite amusing...

"Another couple of wickets and then it's down to the quic....... er....."

He was dying to say "medium pacers"

The geezer in the crowd with the Wests Tigers flag is looking surprisingly chirpy considering the weekend he's had sports-wise!!! :D

Really impressive stuff from England. Their intensity in the field at the moment bears alarming contrast to Australia's effort yesterday. Collingwood's catch was very nearly the best I've ever seen. Great aggressive and - most importantly - intelligent bowling from Harmison.

I was a littile disappointed that Katich was left out. I've yet to see Hussey play under pressure, so it will be interesting to see what he comes up with today; huge test for Clarke as well.

Hussey has got WA out of these situations many times, but I don't know against this attack.
