New Zealand let it slip in the last two-three overs. I think Sri Lanka have got around twenty runs more than what's par for the course. While New Zealand do have the batsmen to chase it down, it's going to be quite difficult against MMM. The ground may be a tad small, but the pitch isn't a particularly flat one.

Southee was getting some nice late reverse swing (see the ball that got Jayawardene), so Malinga could be destructive if he gets it going midway through NZ's innings. Another close match coming up, I think.

I just realised that only three SL batsmen reached double figures in this innings. But the ones that did made it count.

Agree. Didn't watch the incident but was a bit perplexed to see all the criticism of Jayawardene.
Just raging.
Of course it was Saheba's fault.

Although Jayawardene did have a good view of the catch........
And how could anybody celebrate like McCullum did if it wasn't a catch.

Heh, the front on view was a little doubtful on the replay. That would have been the view MJ had. I think he asked Sanga too if he had seen it.

Kulasekara's getting some serious seam movement. New Zealand will have to see him and Malinga off without losing more than a wicket.
