Don't blame Mahela for that at all personally. If it's close to the ground at all for a batsman they have to ask the question IMO. The 3rd umpiring is what is in the wrong.
Agree. Didn't watch the incident but was a bit perplexed to see all the criticism of Jayawardene.

Every time I see Murali bat, I marvel at the fact that he managed to eke out an epic 33* at one point in his career. How on earth did he manage that?

Nah, its not just you.

He strikes me as a total ******.
Feels he has to use words like "tail" for swing, "pole" for stump, "jag" for seam movement. Just to make it sound like he's saying something of worth. Oh, don't forget the use of "the ole" or "the good ole", and rambling on like a total moron when his fellow commentator asks him a question or for his opinion. Very rarely actually answers the question. He doesn't even have a decent knowledge of NZ cricketers, since he can't even get a commentary job in NZ.

Haha, six! Murali sure proved me wrong.

And, wait, was that Oram at the top of the list of NZ's leading wicket-takers in World Cups?

ffs, we keep the batsmen quiet and get tonked by Malinga and Murali. Classic Black Caps.

Doull trying to say that 10 overs for 63 is "reasonably good" *smh*
