Basic contextual thinking. They will have vastly the better of the climate if they bat first. England seem to have abandoned contextual thinking at the toss. Reminds one of the Root/Silverwood era in tests. Rigid and can't adapt.
They have the dew factor in their defence, and it might come in rather early with the high humidity, but they might also be too knackered for it to matter.

I'm not totally convinced a bit of dew overwhelms the fact we'll be chasing close to 400 with batters who have just nearly suffered a stroke against bowlers chillin' in the shade as as speak.
