***Official***Match #20- England vs S Africa - October 21st - Wankhede (D/N)

Owzat

U19 Captain
A good result there for England, just one run off that over from Atkinson off the last ball and it allows Jansen to keep the strike.
yup, like battle of Isandlwana, the last British soldier standing bagging himself a zulu, result

King Kane

International Debutant
Even Klaasen looks exhausted out there, all these big shots are taking it out of him and he doesn't even have to run for them.

All this talk about the players struggling in the heat, has a match ever been called off/delayed due to excessive heat ?

We played a game at Parra in the early 2000s when the temp reached 46 Celsius but it wasn’t humid.

It also wasn’t much fun.

Cricket NSW has since brought in playing conditions that if it gets over 42 or so they call the whole round off. Pretty soft imho. No wonder we run last in everything these days

Well if the "Dean Jones India test" wasn't called off I don't think an ODI ever would be

The bowlers and fielders have run out of steam. Klaasen can get them to 400 here.
Topley should be pretty fresh shouldn’t he? He’s gone for 63 in seven and tbh his figures flatter him. Been gifted two poles off turgid filth
