Not Terrible
We are only 4 down ffsYou need wickets in hand to do that though, another quick couple of wickets here and we won't be scoring much off the last 15 overs.

Makes those pads a target and just lets the bowler err full without risk of being punished. I've certainly seen him play forward to spin and use his feet, but when in defensive mode it's always back.Yeah makes him vulnerable to getting worked over. Can remember a T20 couple of years ago where Ashwin pretty much walked over him in 3 or 4 deliveries.
Lol I just checked this thread now and assumed we were like 7 down for 100 or something. We are only 4 down ffs
Super unlikely! Rashid will bowl NZ out if they bat that aggressively going for 300.Just bat to the 40th over - will be about 190ish. If still 4 down 300 is on.
Quoting and liking this because it has something to do with mafia and I think it might help you.It should be a good game.
There's a battle ahead.
Think Afghanistan's bowling has been genuinely good and Atherton (I think) was pointing out how they shut down the singles to Latham in particular. 4 per over not too bad, given that and the need to conserve wickets.Yes but it’s also valid to say that 50(60) or 50(65) were even more required and were achievable with better (not simply higher risk) batting
Anyway, splitting hairs somewhat and it’s all going to come down to how we kick on from here of course
Will be interesting against kuldeepYeah makes him vulnerable to getting worked over. Can remember a T20 couple of years ago where Ashwin pretty much walked over him in 3 or 4 deliveries.
But he averages 6 in the Rwandan PL.Reminder Rashid Khan averages 35+ against NZ Aus SA Ind Pak Eng
Agree with all this.Thoughts on Will Young's knock - good player and obv would like to see him succeed, but innings like today's just build the suspicion that he might have a ceiling at this level. Having done the hard work, was a great opportunity missed (for him to be the guy whom everyone else could just bat around). Not just the tendency to miss out on bigger scores, but haven't seen him fully take control of the game or situation like Taylor, Guptill or even Mitchell. Still a better white ball selection than Nicholls though.
