There was a point when I was thinking: "We shouldn't want rain even if we're not doing well, this is an opportunity to get some good cricket in against the best in the world."

Now, I'm thinking: "Screw that ****, rain rain freaking come back!"

Don`t think you can keep blaming D/L. Jonners. Go son.
Okay...If a team that was crusing along near 4 runs an nd was required to score 5 runs at that moment, but suddenly they go from 5 to 7 runs an over and you only have 24 overs....whats going to happen?

Mitchell Johnson. This is exciting! Maybe now the Aussie selctors will realise we don't need has-beens like Gillepsie.

What a spell from Johnson. 4 wickets in 2 overs. Inspired stuff.

Funnily enough, I was going to post something earlier about how he seemed to be one stroke of luck from putting in a really telling international performance. He got Dravid with a nothing ball after being hit for a boundary, and 8 balls later he's cemented a place in the ODI bowler rotation for a while to come.

How many of the five wickets fell in an attempt to step up the run rate ?

Haha what a joke. Funniest moment in CW this past week (if not beyond), the reversed reactions of the Indian and Aussie fans on here.

1. India had only faced a couple of overs before the rain so their run rate at that time was irrelevant

2. Think of it as 20/20 - the target was pretty easy really.

3. Cant blame it on the rain - 1 run out and 4 batsmen bowled out had nothing to do with the weather.

Perhaps the first few wickets that`s fair enough. But not the next few.
