Really? Haven't heard of it and would be surprised if some thing like it occured. For one, the only way the Dish TVs of the world is going to beat the local cable operator is by being price competitive in a market like India.

For two, there are others coming up like Tata etc. So it can't be made for Dish TV specifically.

Yea I don't mean Dish TV specifically, but no more cable. I was in India over July and August and I remember watching on the news once that the SC passed a law saying that by Dec 31, 2006, all houses should get something like Dish TV or Tata Sky because cable will become illegal

I really don't think it can happen practically even if what you are saying is true (I am unaware regarding it). There was a controversy regarding set top boxes ages back and people protested and it was shelved. But whatever, back to the cricket..

I was more thinking about the ashes...Marto's form hasn't been great allround, whilst Clarke has been playing outta his skin in ODI's, and Watson has been since the Pura-Cup final.

In any case, your raise a fair point in Watson taking Martyn's place in the top ODI XI. He's a more destructive batsmen, and his bowling can be fairly useful..
