I'm so delighted to see 5 bowlers in the Indian side. Yes they haven't performed with Pathan and Kumble going for runs, but its good to see Indian cricket going in the right direction for once. Very very happy about that.

Secondly... ASHISH NEHRA HAS A 5FER! Maybe he has turned the corner, I am not lucky enough to be watching but he must be doing something different to his series back in 2004 with Australia (maybe its injury/fitness, I reckon he's definitely changed something). Anyway great to see him keep us in this game.

NEHRA HAS 6 NOW!

Yes Nehra was operating very intelligently with excellent control .... but sadly his fielding lost at least 10 - 15 runs imo ....

SL scores 281/8
nehra 6/59 off 10 overs

Should be a good match :D
Yes, I hope so :)

Scene is set for Sehwag to score when it counts. COME ON VEERU!

Mahela is one of the most beautiful batsman to watch ..... he plays quite a bit away from his body with such supple, precise and accurate timing in an almost undescribable effortless way. Today he played quite a few beautiful chipshots over the infield just between fielders to balls that were at 135 km/ph. When he is batting like this he looks like genious.

The only batsman that I have seen come close to looking this good is Laxman way back in 2000 and Damian Martyn last year. :D

The way Arnold And Mahela handled Kumble was a lesson for all other batsman on how easy it is to get lots of runs against him whithout taking any risk's. :p

Just as preferred- Sehwag has attacked the Lankan frontliners and scored 48 off 21- a pity he dragged on one by Vaas. Hopefully the Indians will attack Vaas and get more off him. At least they have a good, rapid start 62 at the fall of the first wicket.

MY GOD! Sehwag smashing 26 off Lokuhettige's first over is absolutely amazing! A pity he's been bowled, but he's given us the perfect platform now. Sehwag is an absolute freak!

Ganguly trapped plumb by Dilshan after a scratchy bit- he's got ODI issues, and that leaves a question for the selectors.

Sehwag has come good when it mattered, but sadly, since his dismissal, the run-rate has slowed down.

Dilshan should be no problem, as long as the Indians don't do anything silly against him- why, for cream's sake, why did they go easy on Lokuhettige?

Ganguly & Dravid have brought Lanka back into the game. Even Dilhara is bowling like Vaas.

Let's just hope they build a massive partnership now. They have a good start behind them. Now Sanath has to walk off injured. Sad.

Good job of running himself out by Dravid, knowing very well that he was the last specialist batsman. Dhoni plays out the over. Run rate 7+.
