Please, that pales in comparison to the true test of teamwork - Symonds and Harbhajan!

Finding it tough to get the energy up for IPL after the most exhilarating 6 weeks I could have ever hoped for. Think need the matches to get started to get excited about IPL.

CSK vs KKR tomorrow and KKR look strong. KKR bowling doesn't look great but their batting looks the goods. Think it is going to be a tough game to win for CSK, but they will still win it. Raina to score a century.

Miller for 100k is a joke, there are so many better players they could have signed for that much money. A bloke like Swann is still available and they could have gone for him, though I still find it funny that nobody wants a spinner like Swann in their team.
Who are available for the whole tournament and have a record as solid as Miller's? 20/20 average over 30 plus an international S/R over 130 is more than adequate. Davey Jacobs fetched a quarter of mill that despite having a 20/20 record which is completely ordinary.

Why would Punjab go for Swann when they know he isn't available for the whole tournament and they have Piyush Chawla + to a lesser extent Dussey? Punjab bought well and pretty intelligently.

No IPL coverage in New Zealand either - with a number of New Zealanders involved in the various teams that surprises me somewhat that Sky aren't showing it.

Vijay gone to a very very soft dismissal in the first over. Hit a great shot the ball before.

Opening with spin works immediately.

Kolkata have played in the opening match now for the third time out of the four years the IPL has run.
