*Official* India v West Indies Tests & ODIs

Again the case of the Indian batsman pulling off a victory where it was almost a done deal for a WI victory.

Something needs to be done fast, to this Indian bowling as the batting lineup cannot end up successfully chasing such huge scores everyday.

im very proud of the team, was another monumental chase. Its amazing how a year ago this Indian team couldnt chase at all, but now are regularly chasing big scores. Its fantastic to see and I think Sourav Ganguly and John Wright deserve the credit for this.

The West Indians bowled well at the start of the innings I think. It was courageous (at times lucky) batting by Ganguly to score some quick runs which made a big impact toward the end. If he hadn't done that, India may well have been chasing at 10 or so at the death.

I'm concerned about Dillon and Collins, they looked to be struggling with injury...especially Dillon in his final spell. He kept grip his shoulder.

The series is already lopsided to the batsmen! West Indies can't afford injury to bowlers at this stage with the series so poised!!

India WON again

India WON the 4th. It is 2-2 now.

Dravid deserves to be MOM. However real redit goes to Bangar , who played a great fast innings. Specially when in test Bangar had been asked to play slow and steady. During tests Bangar was not considered as ODI player.

Yuvaraj and kaif failed when India needed them the most.

Complaining about bad umpiring about wickets of Dravid and Bangar is simply that. If there was a doubt, third umpire or referee should have been consulted.:baddevil:

SA may end up as the best team of the year

SA deserves lot of credits. They did very well during tour of asia on spin tracs. They also are doing well on home grounds, a fast bowler's paradise. Though SL batting has recovered in the 2nd test the SA bats have given SA a good start.

May be SA's losses to Oz few months ago was an exception.

Sure one can not use certain words here. agreed.

However, when some fans = whoever or from whereever ?? they are= mention that India should play Youhanna, Kaif, Jaffer, Khan , etc.[some of whom have failed repeatedly to perform after being given so many chance , ] then it is ok.

I guess Implied references are no problems here as long as they are not expressed !!!:baddevil:
Im not sure how Yohanna will play...as he's Pakistani...maybe you ment Yohannan? Well if you did the answer would have been "No Way" anyway. Maybe he's trying to be a Sidhu and talk loads of rubbish?

But there was much help to the quicker bowlers in the 2 innings under the lights. The ball was really bouncing high. That was the reason that Bishop said that he would go back naked if india won. He was that confident after he saw the pace and bounce. Also, Rik ur saying about Banger has gone wrong. Maybe u should say that ENG will lose and they may win.
One innings does not make a man...especially when he was clearly out earlier...maybe you should stop trying to provoke another arguement too...

Also I've just noticed his bowling figures...1-0-13-0...genuine All-Rounder? Nah, more like Genuine CMA (Case of Mistaken Ability)...

I was not trying to create an arguement. I was just trying to say that just when u said why is he being played he played a match winning innings. Don't take it that seriously :D:D

Sorry...I've just had too many people being too serious to me lately and if I prove them wrong they start to insult me instead. Anyway Banger needs to do that more to convince me anything...and if he's in there as an all-rounder then...oh dear...

india beat the west indies again.and remember there is no zaheer or tendulkar.and when zaheer comes then i suggest there bowling attack will come after sa pak and aus.

Yet again, we've had this enough times, Zaheer is a decent bowler but not one of the world's best. Harbajan and Kumble are...well if Harbajan starts showing more form soon then he could be classed as one of the world's best bowlers but Kumble looks to be pretty much out of it now. Srinath is looking a bit long in the tooth, Nehra just gets less and less impressive, Zaheer is decent but still has a long way to go and Kumble is on the way out...sorry that doesn't sound like the world's 4th best bowling attack...

well atleast india has a much better bowling attack than england.I think england also needs to improve its batting a bit because aus A are going to trash england and they might do less than 79 in there next match against Australia.

I for one was pleased to see him do well as I think he's a very under-rated player.

As for the 1 over for 13 runs - he came on when Gayle was going beserk - I doubt any other bowler would've been any better.

Nowhere near those 3 - more on a par with England and NZ.

And what exactly does this have to do with the India-West Indies ODIs?

Atleast right now , India have a very weak bowling line up, things will get better with the return of Khan.
As for England, had Gough and Jones been playing, it would have been a different story!

I can agree with most of that.
