Balaji looks pretty good. Althogh he has gone for 13 in 1 over . He beat the bat a few times. He will be a pretty good bowler overseas. The wickets are just too flat for these games and flatter than ever before.

Well back on the topic, Lakshmipathy Balaji is playing today, opening the bowling with Srinath.

Lets see what he can do.

Balaji: Right Arm Medium Fast for Tamil Nadu

FC Bowling: 50 Wickets at 27.88 RPO: 2.7
OD Bowling: 22 Wickets at 25 RPO: 4.29

Pretty good for docile and dead Indian Tracks with plenty of good batsman galore.
And after all the build-up, his first spell in International Cricket is one of 3 overs for 35!

Bring back Agit!

All i can see for the moment is that Hinds beating the hell out of everybody and i can see pathetic bowling changes by Ganguly, he simply doesnt know how to control and rotate his bowling, he should at least give a bowler the chance to undersatnd the wicket.

Good win to West Indies, Ganguly seems to be asleep at the wheel - Bangar only 1 over, only went for 6 - ok in the context of the match. Even Laxman got a bowl. They won't in the world cup using 8 bowlers.

Once again indian bowling & poor captaincy has led the indians down i dont understand how Ganguly tries to use the bowlers.

Another good knock from that man Gayle as well. Glad I didn't put the curse on him!!

Maybe it was fixed? Or maybe Ganguly is actually such a good captain he can afford to lull the opposition into a false sense of security and all that...

And why no Dillon for the Windies? Can they afford to rest him?! (I'm sure he's probably injured but it's fun winding up those Indians!!):P

Yeah because he had the best bowlers in the world who know exactly what they are doing with total control to back his intelligent strategies.

The great Ajit has picked up 5 for 40 in the Ranji yesterday.:lol::lol: And also Rayudu who single handedly won the U19 ENG series has scored 210 off just 232 balls. Maybe he will be in the team for the WC.

I really feel it is too late now to be considering uncapped players for the world cup.

If your bolwers dotn have it to wreck sides out, then atleast you expect them to try to keep the lid on things ! Ganguly hasn't impressed at all

Once again Ajit is picked. I don't know why Sourav has so much confidence in him. And Balaji is dropped. Oh choora you are in trouble now:lol::lol:

I have no idea what Ganguly was trying to do and i have no idea why he neede to bowl himself two overs and go for so many runs, he is simply not a captain who knows what bowling is all about.

well i just heard that Ganguly has been rested for the last two one-day internationals against West Indies due to a back injury. Rahul Dravid will lead the team in Ganguly's absence.

He's also wanting to see his sick father...so maybe it is rather too "convienient" to be a real injury...

Whoever bats second wins translates to whoever wins the toss wins. Let's see who is lucky with the toss, these last two one dayers.

Both bowling "attacks" have been horrible.

LOL at India their bowling attack is mediocre ? if they cant bowl at home ? where can they bowl ?

They should keep trying changes , balaji has been a bit unsuccesful , i knew at the start of the match he would be hammered as Gayle is in fine form ,

tough luck for India maybe S.Singh and R.Sodhi can make a difference
