As long as India has Dravid and Tendulkar, India has a good chance of winning the match. Pakistan probably lost their chance when they conceded a lead(as i had predicted earlier) instead of gaining it. I think some of their dismissals very stupid.

Pak should really have played Arshad Khan, Khalil is ineffective and arshad would have been a better bet on a turning track.

At tea India are 36 for 2 , with the 14 run lead India lead by 50 runs! Seems to be in a very good position, another 225-250 would be enough to win the match.

Again, true. Personally, I rate Lara better than Sachin in tests, but that doesn't take away the fact that he is an all time great.

I'm with you on that one.

Its natural for people to criticise those that are deemed to be great by others. Every player has/had their faults, whether it be Bradman, Richards, Warne, Murali, Lara or Sachin. Its just odd that these faults (well maybe not for Bradman, although on this board people do attempt to criticise/play down his achievements) are brought up just about as often, if not more, than these players' brilliant accomplishments.

No one is free from criticism, its just odd how these players seem to receive a lot.

It's a valid opinion...sometimes I watch what Lara does with the bat and I wonder if anything could be better than what I've just seen.

But IMO, Tendulkar has applied his talent more than Lara has.

I think its more to do with his scoring rate and style, he takes time now and then slowly builds up...and crowd wanrts tendulkar of old

We should also compliment the Umpiring in this match (upto now )..its been spot on, can't recall any single bad decision.
