Sorry to say but the fact is that Inzi and Youhanna lacks guts.

Inzi is the lone classic batsmen of Pak, while Youhanna is a good batter too.One of them should come at one down position. Had one of them batted onedown in this match then Pakistan might have been in a better position right now, also had Inzi batted one down he might have guided one of the openers in the innings too.

Maybe Pak should give extended run to their batsmen regardless of their performances!!

I mean when Hameed made his debut, he was regarded as the golden boy of Pak team but he's out now, the same thing happened with Hasan Raza, Faisal Iqbal and others including Umar (who have just made a comeback).

Salman Butt was a big star in Pak team till now, but i won't be surprised to see him dropped out of the team after the current test match.Wonder where it will take Pakistan team from here?

Yep Pakistan's chances of saving this test match looks rather bleek....... I hope Asimkamal and youhana will delay the inevitable... But for how long??

WHAT???? Pakistans attack suxs, just Danish stood out, otherwise they are all pathetic.Sami,Razzak,Naveed all bowled poorly, if on occasion they bowled a few good bowls then its not a big deal.
Inzi would be in real trouble when he return back to Pakistan after Indian tour, Akhtar will be back into the squad.Even if they don't Akhtar, they need to get rid of Sami and Naveed (by bringing in Shabbir and Umar) and Razzak should only be played in onedayers.
Sarcasm, mate. :)

Whatever it takes!!!
It was good to see Inzy and Yousuf and Asim and Razzaq battle it out. I don't think their bowlers were THAT horrible, esp. yesterday, when they had a plan and they stuck to it. Sure, they are no world beaters, but with good planning and better catching, they can be a decent attack and they can set up a decent stage for Kaneria to weave his magic on. But the main thing here is consistency and that has always been something a bit alien to Pakistan cricket. I mean ,with India, we were atleast consistent in losing at times, but with Pakistan, nothing is for sure. I still don't see how someone with Sami's ability (both with the ball and as an athlete) is struggling so much. Surely, a trip to the MRF Pace Foundation and a meeting with Lillee and Sekhar will do him no harm.

Balaji's batting is a point of interest. On another forum, they were discussing the way he found gaps in the field and looked for quick singles, scoring a lot faster than the 'infamous' VVS Laxman, who, according to one, should have supported Balaji by giving him the strike. Seems to have batted well at that position. He should be encouraged to go for bigger, quicker scores and may be more useful than certain wicketkeepers picked only for batting.

And also some of India's pace bowlers- they need to add more than a few yards of pace- action changes can work wonders.

What works for Jim need not necessarily work for Tom, Arjun. People are different and not everyone is going to gain pace by modifying their action. And I won't advise it, at any rate, esp. if the cost could be their accuracy. A couple of the commentators felt that the reason the Indian seamers are swinging the ball more is because of their lack of pace, allowing the ball to grip the surface.
