Yeah. I wasn't suggesting all or even many of the Indian fans on this forum were doing that, but some certainly were, and it looks pretty idiotic now.Sehwag309 said:Thats why I dont predict or talk stupid b4 Ind/pak series
..Pak is 273-2 and ur worried abt SONY , yeah they are Pathetic...no hawkeye, 3rd class commentary..weird camera work but its TWI doing the production, SONY is just rights holderArjun said:The live coverage by SONY is terrible. After such a long and dramatic wrangle regarding the telecast rights, did they have to settle with something so dumb?
There should be some variety....Sehwag309 said:..Pak is 273-2 and ur worried abt SONY , yeah they are Pathetic...no hawkeye, 3rd class commentary..weird camera work but its TWI doing the production, SONY is just rights holder
This wicket offers absolutely nothing to the seamers. The Indian seamers are only medium-pace and can't do much on such tracks, so all they had to do is bowl wicket-to-wicket. Was that so hard?Spoken by Saba Karim on Headlines Today
The Indian pacers tried too hard to get swing away from the left-handers rather than stay wicket-to-wicket. They wanted some movement off the wicket and when it was missing, they tried some other tricks that did not work. The speed is missing.
Lol.. sounds pathetic..The live coverage by SONY is terrible. The captions put up are wrong, the cameras change at the wrong time and now the picture comes three seconds after the sound! After such a long and dramatic wrangle regarding the telecast rights, did they have to settle with something so dumb?
The way Younis Khan batted (and also Youhana) was simple, but very effective. No fancy shots, just singles (at least two each over) and a four when the four-ball came, all of that put them in a commanding position. Then there were some who wanted Younis out of the side.Pakistan batting is showing a lot of determination in this series. And as one of the guys who supported Younis Khan as both player and captaincy material, I am extremely pleased for him. Any guy who stays with the team even when his dad has died because he was an inform player in a struggling team deserves a LOT of credit. His captaincy yesterday during the last session was a revelation and his batting seems to have gotten better as well. I think we are watching a future pak captain for sure.
This is what's wrong with the game in India. Far too much depends on individual performances. More than just get a hundred, he needs to convert it into a match-winning innings. He doesn't even run between wickets- name any batsman from a top side who doesn't believe in taking quick singles. The way he bats, he would not fit into the top-6 of any side, let alone a top side. His bowling was something he let go waste seven years ago- he was capable of swinging the ball in helpful conditions and could have been the genunie all-rounder the team needed since Prabhakar's exit. His fielding is reason enough to keep him out of the side, at least in ODI's. His captaincy was never any good, given the drought of tournament victories. And Sourav is moving towards the end of his career, FAST. As much as it hurts me to say this (and I have been a big Sourav supporter), I think he has to make a 100 in this series to even warrant a place in the side. I know he has been performing well in tests over the last year and a half...but I think one skill is not good enough. He doesn't bowl himself much, with the result that when he does bowl, he sprays the ball both sides. And the less said about his fielding the better. And his captaincy today was pathetic.
Are you getting the TWI feed on your local channel? You might notice the same.lord_of_darkness said:Lol.. sounds pathetic..
Yuvraj? I've never been that impressed by him in test cricket. What about Kaif?Arjun said:Why, and I must ask, why, is Yuvraj on the bench?
