mofo123 said:i see ur not one to accept defeat, but picking up on spelling and grammer to argue is very dissapointing i dont seen any sibstance in ur points, saqlain in his last 5 test may not be wot he was thats y he had an operation on his knee...he will b avaliable for the next tour hopefully ill let his bowling do the talking, he had a row with the selection commitee after the india tour and was dropped which was then followed by his operation. there is no question he is still the same bowler. not for me anyway his name is still saqlain and his action is still the same maybe u shud wait b4 making accusation against bowlers and batsmen..
Your observation are very interesting indeed! Just coz his name happens to have remained Saqlain, and coz his action is same means he's still similarly effective!! goiing by the same token Mushtag Ahmad and Abdul Qadir should also be recalled coz not only their respective names happen to have not changed but also because their action haven't altered either
And i wasn't accusing the bowler, i was just mentioning a fact that there is a visible decline in Saqlain's bowling, a fact well realised by Pak selection committee. And Saqlain has been in poor form well before the operation you have been mentioning. The fact that you can't realise the fact that a player has past his best tell alot about you.
LOL!! who said that they are one of the best ??? BTW ur point is still unproven as you still can't differentiate between a true test allrounder and a bit and pieces player.about asutralia playing with 4 specialist bowlers, so wot i was giving u an example of a successful team with that set up in question and i proved my point and very well evidently as u admited they r one of the best teams in the world.
It just showed how stupid was example was, giving an example of a world class allrounder who can walk into most of the teams in the world to justify the inclusion of less than average atest batsman (malik) who isn't even allowed to bowl!malik is no kallis did i say he was? i was again giving u an example to back my point of all rounders being useful, u dont understand the concept of discussions do u, u have to say a point then back it up with proof, i am doing all im gettin gfrom u is blind aligations.
There is no need for comparison, Yuvraj and Kaif are example of numerous talented batsmen that India have today that will be part of Indian test team tomorrow. There might not be anyone as good as Tendulkar but that doesn't mean that the batting lineup won't be strong!abt yuvraj and kaif the discussion started off by saying that they r the next line to replace tendulker and co, so therefore i presumed u meant replace them man for man, and sure they can do a decent job, but nothing more till they r nurtured. they r very good no doubt but dont b comparing them to the class of ur current team.
Its not just me, everyone has given hope on Saqlain. The result of test matches doesn't matter its his bowling that has been very ordinary of late, if still not convinved then go though numerous thread on cricketweb on Saqlain and see what ppl have to say on him. And there isn't any point in waiting coz the guy is not going to get much chances as Pak selectors are clever enough to have realised that the guy is finished!and once again calling me a fool coz i think a bowler is good, very immature. and have u seen him to b able to prove that he is not the bowler he used to b? if u have present it yes i have seen the evidence from the post abt his last 5 tests. they were test we lost how many times have u seen good bowling figures from a test match which the team was hammered? and in those test we were hammered. but that doesnt prove he has lost it. wait till he is back
And lastly the only thing you have proven so far is that you can write very poorly and have a very poor understanding of cricket. The profession i suggested to u might have suited ur skill better, too bad you didn't go for it!
