I know what you mean... but some mis-guided people still do. He (Arjun) was just explaining that some perhaps hot-headed people will straight-away blame the captain.deeps said:how can you blame the captain?

perhaps you should be telling that to the indian teamPAKMAN said:beware of ''THE-AFRIDI'' factor
It was great stuff. Its no fun losing the game and even worse when your bowlers are treated like fodder but it was truly amazing stuff.PAKMAN said:yoooooo hoooooooo !!!!
great great win for pakistan
and i really feel for the india supporters i could imagine their pain when afridi was hitting nearly every ball to the boundry ,but it brot absolute joy to us and we codnt stop screeming infront of the tv very very very very entertaining ,im sure you guyz will have ur days wen sehwag shines again
Well i think it was about 5 years ago now, when Brett Lee first came onto the scene.. There was a one day series around that time and afridi looked very shaky against the short quick stuff from Lee. But there is alot of batsman in the world that can be made to look shaky against that stuff from Lee delivered in the high 150's. However afridi managed to not get out to him.SJS said:I have a feeling he will not be comfortable against really quick short stuff on his body but India hasnt had bowlers who can do that since I have been watching and thats from a millenium back . What do you think ?
How is he against short rising very fast stuff?
If it comes up straight, he does look suspect- even Nehra got him out once that way, and he's not express. How is he against short rising very fast stuff?
nah i dnt think that was suspect. He missed his pull shot, and it struck him in the helmet.. he didn't even flinch. Wasn't really the short sharp stuff that SJS was talking about i dnt think.Arjun said:If it comes up straight, he does look suspect- even Nehra got him out once that way, and he's not express.
The Indian seamers depend too much on seam and swing movement, which makes it a lot harder for them on flat pitches, when it's very hot. When they're not getting the ball to move, at their pace, they're all targets. QUESTION- Why was Nehra dropped? They can try picking some tall, muscular pace bowler who's known to bowl at serious pace and has been identified by the press (Abid Nabi, Vikram Singh and Munaf Patel are supposed to be a lot faster than the average Indian medium-pacer) for the last ODI or even the next series, just to try something different. Agree about openign with a spinner, but that should just be for an over or two, and should be a non-regular spinner. They can even consider promoting Zaheer Khan to number 3!James said:Could very well be a silly suggestion but could India try opening with one of their spin bowlers, maybe even Sachin to try and restrict Afridi in the sixth and final ODI? All the Indian seamers just seam so badly out of form at the moment.
Well said!deeps said:But there is alot of batsman in the world that can be made to look shaky against that stuff from Lee delivered in the high 150's.
