- that India were chasing 320 to win.
- that Sachin waged a lone battle scoring 141 in 135 deliveries !!
- that the next highest score in the innings was EXTRAS with 36 !!
- That but for a brave partnership between tailenders Powar and Balaji, India would have been far shorter than the 12 runs by which they lost with 8 deliveries yet to be bowled !!
- that the failure was really of Laxman 4, Ganguly 15, Yuvraj 19 and Kaif 7 !!!!

In India we elevate ourselves to "heights" by pulling down stars and if you pull down the brightest of them all, it is felt, you must be really something, no ??

Very well played Pakistan. They deserved to win.

India need to look at a lot of things. The positives are Sachin getting runs under his belt and Yuvraj getting some too.

The captaincy was totally unimaginative and gutless.

The bowling is pathetic.

India need another bowling all rounder in place of one batsman.

Ganguly has no place in the side, as batsman or skipper.

But for the run outs , Pakistan would have won in a canter with overs to spare. If this is what happens with 316 to be chased in 48 overs, this side under this captain wont defend any score. I dread to think what would have happened if Afridi had stayed half an hour longer.

This contest is all about "lets-see-who-can-bowl-worse" !!

yeah it was kind of a one man show by tendulker and nearly had a succesfull last over ,well played tendulker,but inzamam's knock took pakistan to victory under pressure so i think he did deserve it
