Thats oksy. One understands how it happened. But its surprising how the media and the frans start beliving their own hype and then they start believing that he was performing much worse than he actually was.

I have nothing against Laxman being dropped. Much better players than him have been dropped in the past for lesser justification. I am infuriated by the fickleness of the Indian fan.

Yes I agree. If he ever plays. He will come in higher and Gangyly lower.

Actually, forgetting Laxman, I seriously think, if once ganguly starts getting runs, we might restore him to opening and have Sehwag later. It may have its benefits.

I feel Ganguly (again we are talking a Ganguly in form) will serve India best in one dayers if he played eithyer in the first 15 or the last 15 overs. Just a thought

1st 15, yes he has proved it a lot of times over the years....but the last 15...not so much i think...

i think ganguly should bat as an opener along with sehwag. you see tendulkar is'nt scoring a lot opening at the moment. why not give a chance to ganguly.may be he will really score!!!!!

i think your talking tests now? and dravid cannot keep in a test match, that's crazy...

and if your talking odi's, dinesh karthik doesn't play odi's. MS Dhoni does, and as yet, has failed to impress, far too many one digit scores, with one decent one jammed in beteween. not consistent enough for my liking

You mean not good for the team?

Well, without Hafeez, the batting looks somewhat weak since you have a bowler instead. I know he hasn't been scoring runs, but just the thought of him being a specialist batsman makes the batting look much better.
