I don't really have an opinion about whether they were right in not selecting him- lots of competition. Very good in FC, but not necessarily a record that forces selection. It's more that I love his action, although I do think he would probably have been at least pretty good.Hendricks suffered the same fate as the likes of Abbott and De Lange. Too much competition for places meant he was never able to get a look in.
I have been reading unfortunately that Coetzee is injured anyways so wont be even considered.Reckon Maharaj will also get in and they might drop Coetzee.
If someone had to be injured couldn't had it been Rabada..... Why it has to be the only bowler who somewhat struggledI have been reading unfortunately that Coetzee is injured anyways so wont be even considered.
Coetzee ruled out of second Test against India
The fast bowler developed a pelvic inflammation during the first Testwww.espncricinfo.com
Another possibility is that Mulder comes in for Bavuma. He wouldn't be in the squad if it's something they hadn't at least been considering.SA's side will be intersting at Newlands now that Bavuma is out. Hamza has been called up, reckon if they replace TB with a batter he'll get in before Stubbs, even though Stubbs is in the squad.
Reckon Maharaj will also get in and they might drop Coetzee.
So Test XI is probably:
Elgar
Markram
De Zorzi
Petersen
Bedingham
Hamza
Verreynne
Jansen
Maharaj
Rabada
Burger
Ngidi is fit now I think but he'll only play if they decide to go with five bats.
Yeah I think we might get Mulder and Maharaj in for the two injured players.Another possibility is that Mulder comes in for Bavuma. He wouldn't be in the squad if it's something they hadn't at least been considering.
hmm a tactical bouncer
C'mon man, you think there's gonna be a day 4?I have been hearing the first four days of the second test is sold out. If so well done Cape Town
I didnt want to think of thatC'mon man, you think there's gonna be a day 4?
Excellent news if true. Always good to know there is still plenty of interest in test cricket away from the big 3 nations.I have been hearing the first four days of the second test is sold out. If so well done Cape Town
