The only reason people are thinking the best chance of winning is by getting another crack at India shortly is because of a perceived threat of rain. Whilst there's deffinately still a chance of us being all out shortly after t, **** actually wanting that, this is test cricket at Lords, the weather forecasts are often wrong and it could easily be a flatter pitch tomorrow, so bat the ****ers out of the game and let's put some miles in their pace bowlers legs knowing there's another 3 tests to go.

Top knock this, not at his best but finding a way to make runs. Other players from both sides should take note.
Totally different conditions from yesterday, it was almost diabolical the way it swung yesterday, including movement under the lights. Having said that, the application and technique from most Indian batters was seriously ****e.

Whilst it's not swung as much today, I really don't think the Indian pacers have gotten anywhere near as much out of the conditions as they could have had in comparison to our performance yesterday (particularly Woakes and Anderson). Shami has done pretty well so far tbf.

There's a lot of claptrap in the crapinfo feedback, the usual moaning about the toss and pitch etc.

God help test cricket.

Well some of the batting in the last test and from England today has been diabolical too. Not just yesterday I was on about.

The pressure of defending a paltry 107, not to mention the fact that we have Hardik Sobers as the 3rd seamer

You're right about this and totally agree with it, however we've seen England fold under pressure just as quickly this entire summer. So if we'd have bowled England out for a paltry total, this match could've been more interesting.

Lucky way to get there but apart from that Woakes has looked comfortable and classy. Loves playing at Lords.

Woakes has such good technique with the bat. Really like a lot of England's cricketers in this team. Bairstow, Buttler, Woakes, Curran.

Reddit is having a cry too at the minute. It's funny when its coming from people who are tagged as Indian fans as they don't moan about it when they win the toss and take advantage of the conditions.

Anyway well done to Woakes, really want him to succeed in cricket, always shows the right attitude towards it imo.

So now that all three have been officially Shiite at their jobs, who are India's openers for next match. I say bring on Rishab Pant. He cannot go worse than them. But if incase he stays for an hour he might disturb line and length of bowlers. Oh wait, match is not yet over. So any one of the opening batsmen will score a 50 and guarantee himself a spot in next match.Vijay does more often than others. However, going by the gem of the decisions taken by Virat, I would not be surprised if Dhawan is again back in fold.
