I've maintained for a while now that ODI cricket in Australia is very different statistically than it is everywhere else in the world, particularly since the last world cup. Averaging 40 over here is better than any of our batsmen not named Smith or Warner. It's more an indictment on the rubbish cricket we're getting on postage stamp roads with two new balls everywhere else in the world than an attack on Kohli really.
