This is the sort of situation that requires me quoting myself:

Oh I'll get upset if India's glorious record of failure hear ends, but more for the fact the cricket internet and media will be forever the more unbearable. As TJB says, we've already got plentiful excuses.

As long as it doesn’t also mean we have to get SL back here in two ****ing years. As if cricket isn’t struggling enough here these days.

What’s the reason for the adjustment to the touring program which has India touring again in two years?

Today I learned that but for bad weather, India would have been the dominant side in world cricket since 1948.
We were homebullies till 2000. Thanks to Ganguly our team now has become competitive overseas . AUS are the Brazil of cricket team . :)

Monumental win. Thrashing Aussies in their own backyard convincingly. A 3-1 was the desired scoreline but will take this one.

Rest the key players for the meaningless ODI series

I was watching earlier today and they were saying that during the 1977-78 series, the last test in Adelaide was extended to six days as it was a decider. Had never realised that before. What an awesome idea

You were so competitive that you lost all four in Australia and England in 2011 so I don't think Ganguly can take credit. Why is that in what should be a crowing moment the Indian fan still feels the need to make stuff up?

Sorry, but we can't have Tests going for longer than 4 days because no one cares about it etc etc.

Trolling again . IND, PAK and SL all have won a series in ENG since 2001 . First win a series in ENG before finding fault's in other record .

Congratulations India on a fine series win - think I heard it's their first series win in Aus in over 70 years?! Great stuff. Shame we only get to play you in the shorter forms later this month.

I'd think India would be more the Brazil of cricket. Country with a lot of poverty, yet very competitive internationally due to country's obsession with the sport over all else

Is this that weird mentality where if a team that someone supports has a subjectively inferior record to the team they have fair criticism for, then their opinion is irrelevant

If I were to compare Aus to a soccer country it might be USA. A lot of people in the country play it, but it's not the biggest or most popular sport in the country but they are still competitive (ok maybe USA not that competitive) because of natural talent and good facilities

The Orange (Dutch) maybe? Similar population. Had their glory days, struggling a bit now.
