Batting standards have plummeted and it flatters the bowlers
Not really. We're in a **** era for batting really. Smith, Kohli, Williamson show it's easy enough to make runs.
Sure, and we've had a lot of bowler friendly pitches in the last few years as well.

But think of the strength of the bowling attacks from India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, England...even Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and West Indies are putting out decent attacks on the park. And let's not forget Afghanistan - their bowling will no doubt catch people's attention over the next few years. When's the last time overall bowling quality has been this high?

Cummins is one current Aussie cricketer who has ATGness written in him. It will be a shame if he cannot get himself on to the park more often than what he has done in last 7 years.
