These two put on 69 runs in the 19 overs before the second new ball, which is basically perfect given the circumstances.

This partnership overall is now worth 72, the highest of the game so far

Awesome session. All we need is for Starc to keep wasting the new ball.

i mean apart from the bowling, he’s looked sore around his ribs and doesn’t look comfortable with his foot. but he’s bowling trash too

Have to say, despite the two line-ups on paper, I never really believed India would get up in this first test, that they'd score runs and take wickets. But now, it really looks like they should win from here. At least they'll require Australia to bat very well to draw the match.

India have one guy to thank too - massive from Pujara.
