The Wheel is Forever
Harby top scorer. WAG.
Yeah, it was stopping a bit early on. Now it's coming on quite nicely. Perhaps not the best decision to bat first, especially with India's history of slow starts in Test series. It wasn't the new ball that was the problem earlier. It wasn't coming on quite as well because of the moisture which is gone now.
Dravid, you mean? Coz Laxman got out to a good length leg-spinner that pitched close to him. RD was the one who got out driving that leg-spinning half volley.WI playing with just 3 bowlers + Sammy is not helping them either. That's why the injudicious shots played by Vijay, Mukund and Laxman were so frustrating..
Can't think of a consistent Logical reason for it too.Very true. So ****ing frustrating. Can't think of one series we've started well in the past couple of years.
I thought VVS also went for the drive. Was a good ball by Bishoo TBF, perfect length. But playing that shot off his first ball, so close to lunch was injudicious. Certainly by Laxman's standards, ordinary shot selection.Dravid, you mean? Coz Laxman got out to a good length leg-spinner that pitched close to him. Wouldn't say went for the drive, but def. pushed at it. Very unLaxmanlike as you say.I thought VVS also went for the drive. Was a good ball by Bishoo TBF, perfect length. Exactly, when batsmen drive at balls without getting their feet out, the tendency would be to push at it.Dravid and Laxman's shot selections were not odd.
What was strange is that they failed to get to the pitch of the ball. They drive spinners regularly specially Laxman.
Fair Dues to Bishoo to beat them in flight and length too!!
Warne wishes.Harbhajan's batting is a lot like Warney's TBH.
