Leg-break, leg-break, leg-break, flipper is the way, Dev.

Singh is trying to attack without necessarily reading it out of the hand.

The arrogance I speak of is not the policy of resting players. It's this attitude of not having practice matches that I find appalling. Almost as if to say, "We're the no. 1 team. Don't need any practice to beat the others."

Wasn't any different in Centurion, was it?
Wasn't referring to you per say ,but in general.

But this is a fair enough point about practice games.

Though barring a few exceptions they have not done so well in the first test of Home series as well for some reason.

Gotta love the way Harby goes about his batting. Wouldn't fancy him batting time to save a game, but if he sees the ball he hits it.

It's disappointing because it's not even as if India were inserted on a juicy wicket, they elected to bat first. There is carry and occasional unpredictable bounce, but not much lateral movement. The way Harbhajan's going seems it's not a bad track at all, not a 100-6 track by any stretch of the imagination. Quick outfield, plenty of value for your shots if you beat the infield.

Any chance of rain?

Very true. So ****ing frustrating. Can't think of one series we've started well in the past couple of years.

This would not be a bad time for Raina to answer a few doubters as well.

As I said though, I fear this is a pretty decent batting track and this score is disastrous when that's taken into account.

Having said that, Harby could end up scoring some good runs here.

If these two put on about 60 more and India get past 225, I feel the West Indian batsmen would have their work cut out.

Lovely shot by Raina. This is certainly an entertaining counter-attack.

It would be rather awesome if Bhaji could emerge as a genuine all-rounder. Don't think his technique is good enough to be more than a very useful tailender but who knows. He certainly has a good eye.

Bhajji

Cannot imagine what it must be like to have him cone in at 8 if you're na opposition fan.

What would have been a par score at the start of the innings considering India chose to bat?

Oh ****, Rampaul's back. Bowls interminable 10 over spells as well. Serious working over coming up for Raina and Bhajji.
