Well, clearly the priority of the team management was to make sure that they didn't lose from there. They might have reacted differently if it was 32/1 instead of 0/1.

In any case, my vote for the team that played better in this test goes to the West Indies.

Laxman can attack but he can't play forced and improvised shots like the others. They are all in the ODI and T20 team as well.

The new ball was swinging then, sending in Kohli who has struggled this series along with Vijay could have backfired miserably and then they would have had to settle for a draw.

Now they can attack after a stage ,without worrying about a loss when the ball is not doing anything at all.

It doesn't look like they will go for the win which is a pity because these two have recovered well and with nine wickets in hand India definitely has the space to take a few chances and still pull down the shutters if they lose a few wickets.
