I wonder if the team management capitalized on Harbhajan's fitness problem to justify the selection of VRV Singh. 8-) Anyways, I'll take their word for the reasoning behind Sreesanth and Harbhajan not playing, because it makes more sense than "he was rested"; even if they're lying, at least they're trying ...

Well now that we have Pathan-Munaf-VRV-Kumble, hopefully Pathan finds a good line and length, Munaf doesn't run out of gas, VRV attacks more without the nervous jitters and Kumble works his magic.

I like watching Pedro Collins bowl. Been a pretty big fan of his since the Aus/Pak/WI VB Series in 2004/05.

Viru

So is Arjun going to come in here crying about how India lacks a batsman that can do what Gayle does now?

Granted Gayle's hair is cooler than Sehwag's balding hairstyle.

Hundred before lunch?

There's only ever been 4

Edit: I beat the telly to that observation. I guess they read CW.

Sehwag targeting Bravo has been a genius move. Had the wood over India since India arrived, by smashing him to all corners its sending a message.

40 minutes before lunch, Sehwag on 79. Very possible.

Unfortunately, he won't catch Viv Richards for the fastest ever test century.

But he could conceivably catch Charlie Macartney for the biggest one before lunch on the first day of a test (112*).

The other three to go to three figures are Majid Khan (108*), The Don (105*) and Victor Trumper (103*).

Illustrious company indeed.

Last over before lunch now I think, Sehwag still 8 runs short and the field is spread.
Aye. May get another one in, but I feel his chance of immortality has gone (unless he bats for two days and makes 400+, of course).

Last over before Lunch is coming up, Sehwag needs 7 runs. ;) I would rather have him stay than make a century.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 99...

Lol @ Sehwag's shot on the last ball. He knew what he was doing :p Almost got himself ran out though, and that ball could have gone anywhere. But that's Viru.
