If the West Indians bowl more wides and no-balls and the Indians win, there's no need to complain, given how many the Indians bowled.
That's the most ridiculous attitude I've heard since the "play 6 specialist bowlers" suggestion Richard made.

It doesn't matter how poorly the West Indies bowl, the fact is that India bowled rubbish for most of the innings and that won't have changed even if they win the game. You do seem to be knowledgable about cricket, but come on! That's a basic principle. The West Indies bowling badly is not going to do anything to improve the Indian bowling performance.

Agarkar and Munaf Patel (second spell) were exceptional and Harbhajan was always steady.

Notice how many singles were pinched through the field placings? The way Gayle is batting, he can hit sixes and fours even with the most defensive fields, so they can't lose too much by placing more men around the bat.
I don't know what game you were watching, but there were an awful lot of dot balls in the last 10-15 overs of the West Indies innings, which is a clear reflection of the LACK of strike rotation. I don't see any basis for criticism of Dravid's captaincy/field placings/India's performance in the closing stages of the innings.

Exactly. Rubbish from the West Indies bowlers will improve our chances of winning the match, but it won't change the fact that Pathan and RP Singh bowled absolute rubbish today. Well, for all the great starts IKP has given us this year, he failed this time and we have to chase a big total. Harbhajan was very good and Agarkar has become a very mature senior bowler for this side.

After a terrible start, we did pretty alright to keep the score to 250-odd. Match on, it'll be a challenge.

Well I just got back home from school and saw the score. West Indies have put on a fight. 251 won't be easy to chase after a huge storm in only 45 overs. India will need to keep their wickets in the start in order to win. Run rate won't be a factor as it is something india can achieve, but wickets need to be in hand...Lets see how it goes. This is perfect timing for me for once..Usually matches were on at midnight in USA

Learn to count.
Sorry, serves me well for being lazy and depending on Cricbuzz's calc and shouldn't the advice be Learn to calculate' as there was no counting involved. ;)

Great 50 by Dravid. :)

Is there something wrong with Samuels ' action ? CB is reporting that he chucked one particular delivery and might be reported.

Yeah he delivered a quicker one and it did look like a "chuck" (at least the replay).

Kaif has been a big disappointment once again. He's the type of batsman that operates mainly through singles and doubes ... and he hasn't been able to do that today. Perhaps he's looking to make a good score for once, but I haven't been impressed at all.

And how is Kaif a dissapointment here ? He was the new batsmen in and needed to stay because India were playing with only 5 batsmen and lost 3 quick batsmen, Had India lost another wicket, it would have been tough to recover.

This was the perfect Kaif situation and he came and has done a wonderful job so far.

Dravid dropped. :)
