***Official*** India in West Indies

Of course they were accurate, they always are because you're the cricket guru who was right about India never taking 20 wickets this tour (despite falling one short in one test, rain robbing them in the other and poor umpiring in the 3rd), and right about how India should be playing 5 bowlers, and India have already lost this test. *bows*

Oh by the way, Harbhajan gets another one, and the lollypop attacks continues to prosper.

Red = Harbhajan because he's red hot at the moment

WI 99/8.

Having been wathcing this for obvious reason but Is this pitch playing bad or just some poor batting from the windies?

The lollypops are bowling well, nothing to do with the pitch. Yes its not as pathetically flat as in the previous tests, but its not a minefield or a greentop. It just has some nice bounce. Harbhajan just ripped WI apart, and Sreesanth and Patel bowled with some fire.

Yes, the lollypops have indeed bowled well. I am pleasently suprised, we ended up with a lead of 97. Now if we can get a 300+ lead, it will be good. There is PLENTY of time left so we can take our time. We can have two days to bowl them out.

But right now we have neither quantity nor quality when it comes to our bowling. Ideally, I'd rather have quality but since thats not an option -- you have to go for quantity. If and when munaf patel and sreesanth become consistent, then it could work.
you were saying....?:)

63 for 4...and no prices for guessing who is still not out....8-)

a bunch of flat-track bullies and dravid....a fighter like kumble is worth 10 of 'em....he at least wants to win....:@

India really need to try and set a lead of 300, they have all the time they need. So they should just be patient, and work off singles and doubles.

Agreed. We are really missing Sachin now. He's the only other batsman with a technique thats good enough to last on pitches like these.

You could be right Silent, Dravid does have the aura of a man who is the second coming.

Also guys, how many runs do you feel India need, hundred more?

A lead of 300, so about 135 more. Maybe wistful thinking, but I don't know if I would feel comfortable with anything less. Especially since they also have at least one person good enough to last on this track (Lara, perhaps a couple more)l.

300 lead is just wistful thinking. I guess 250 will have to do, as something to aim for. But thats 70 more runs...and thats looking a LOT of runs right now.

I will reiterate: Dravid is a God amongst mortals. Our other batsmen wouldn't know technique if it hit them upside the head disguised as an endorsement contract.

Well, unless Dravid and Kumble come up with another gem of a partnership, our bowlers are going to have to be in attack mode tomorrow. I hope Bhajji can confound the WI line-up again with his Bhajjiness.
