Look you guys are right, but India lost a series against SA in 2006-07 directly because they gave Harris too much respect.

Actually, I prefer Tests to ODI's as well, but trading your only World Cup win for a series win in a country that has been conquered thrice ? I dunno.
Yeah, I did say infinitely though. I don't really think there's much to debate; it's just a personal preference. There's no right answer.

Which is where the myth comes from. He's taken so many dire wickets since then because of that series.

That Dravid and Tendulkar partnership still haunts me to this day. The only time I reckon I've legitimately been angry at those guys.

Jono, question for you. When you're not cheering for India, are you cheering for Australia? Or you just don't care?

Indian fans:

What would you prefer:

Scenario 1:
India draws this test series and wins the World Cup

Scenario 2:
India wins this test series 2-1 and doesn't win the World Cup (but still put in a strong performance).

Curious considering the commentators are talking about the WC now.
Scenario 2 obv. Especially in the hypothetical, if it involved Sree taking 10-7 and bowling SA out for 43 after Ishant opened the bowling and conceded 36 runs in the first over

Generally I support Australia in all other sports, and in cricket it depends on who is in the team. I loved Steve Waugh and Gillespie, so would generally want them to win. But once they became such a dominant force I'd want a contest more than anything (like many Australian fans actually).

However I have struggled in recent times with Ponting at the helm, as I've never liked him. Not a fan of Clarke either tbh and despise Watson. That's why the incident in my avatar was the greatest moment in cricket history.

Zim-SA test series in May-June? Kallis will again score 500-600 in series with 4 tons remaining Not Out. His average will be 60~ with 44 career tons.

Turb, question for you, do you check up Canada's cricket results at all? Did you follow them in the WC (after India)?
Haha I don't know if that's a serious question or not. :p I mean there's not much to follow with cricket in Canada. But of course, I do check up the score for Canada when they play in the world cup, and am happy when they do well.

But as for other sports, such as the olympics (winter and summer), ice hockey, etc. I am a die hard Canadian fan. This includes being a die hard Toronto fan as well in the NHL, NBA, MLB, etc. Cricket is actually the only thing I cheer for India in, which is understandable. For everything else, I am Canadian to the bone. That includes hating on the US
