Enough of this crap. The Sydney test wasn't all about rough LBW decisions. You know that and still come out with crap.Shocking stuff. It's typical that it goes India's way. Hopefully South Africa will act like Indians regarding this, but they probably won't.
Are you sure it was still swinging in after bouncing? That's quite rare because usually when it bounces it changes the seam position.Yeah, possibly. Think it would've been an "umpire's call" tho.
Noooooooo. That was not-out. An umpire can't give marginal decisions like those (similar to tendulakr's LBW shout from the last test).Let's not forget the 1 against India. Prince was out lbw to Harbhajan earlier today.
India would've won anyways IMO, but would've been much better contest if UDRS was available tbh. Some of the posting in this thread is getting disgusting. Typical it goes India's way?
Get a grip you guys.
Where and when was that?
And how did you figure?
How do you know what it would have done?
In Bangalore on a very low wicket with the ball hardly bouncing , the ball hits the pads close to full and the bowl is shown to bounce way over the top of the stumps .According to what your human brain thinks the BALL would have done?
Exactly, completely agree with you, people need to stfu about UDRS now. Just enjoy the game, and if you can't, turn the TV off and go do something more productive than crying over the decisions. Some of the posting in this thread is getting disgusting. Typical it goes India's way?
Get a grip you guys.
Not disagreeing at all.India would've won anyways IMO, but would've been much better contest if UDRS was available tbh.
Tbh, I don't even care whether hawkeye is 100% accurate. The point is, its totally consistent. And there's 0 chance of favouritism.I actually want UDRS, have said it numerous times.
But don't think we can completely rely on the hawkeye and the ICC rightly doesn't either.
It has shown some real weird paths with swing and spin in the past with the commentators commenting upon it too.
Even on Indian wickets with uneven bounce a ball going low has been previously shown to be going over the top of the stumps when after pitching it has hit the pad soon.
I'd trust that over the umpire any day.In Bangalore on a very low wicket with the ball hardly bouncing , the ball hits the pads close to full and the bowl is shown to bounce way over the top of the stumps .
There are other instances too where hawkeye has shown weird paths.
Yes it was.Are you sure it was still swinging in after bouncing? That's quite rare because usually when it bounces it changes the seam position.
Lol, yeah. Some of the posting in this thread is getting disgusting. Typical it goes India's way?
Get a grip you guys.
Without doubt. Didn't really swing until it pitched, which was what made it such a good nut. I reckon Davis probably reckoned it just deserved a wicket, it was that good. Are you sure it was still swinging in after bouncing? That's quite rare because usually when it bounces it changes the seam position.
But that is the reason why people are discussing UDRS!Exactly, people need to stfu about UDRS now. Just enjoy the game, and if you can't, turn the TV off and go do something more productive than crying over the decisions.
If there is a chance of this happening, then why is BCCI being singled out for relying on Human's than Technology?I want to see Boucher's dismissal again. The ball definitely looked to be coming back into the right-hander. Maybe not enough, but Hawkeye's projected path looked way off.
EDIT: Hang on, I have Sky Plus....
2nd EDIT: Yeah, it's coming back in big time. Sorry, but the technology's wrong there. Height the issue, as I said.
The only time in my 26 years that I legitimately considered not ever watching another game of cricket.& how is this about Sydneygate suddenly? Lol. Those scars run deep, clearly.
Humans don't have any experience in counter-factual physics. That's impossible. Your argument is invalid.Sometimes odd things happen and technology is not upto human comprehension ability relying on experience.
Why?I'd trust that over the umpire any day.
