50 run opening partnership. Wow, best opening partnership for SA in 2006. Leave it up to our bowlers to get even Smith back into form.

India 17-1 underdogs to win now...though the betting folks are saying draw is slightly more likely than an SA win.
Draw i cant see this match ending in a draw. India are under heavy pressure here. Still 6 sessions remaining. The only factor that might make it a draw is i think weather otherwise result is on cards. One reason being India haven't really batted well lately and that too in a 4th innings its not impossible but i will be very much surprised if india saves this test match let alone go ahead and win it.

They aren't winning it. But I doubt you'll get more than 150 overs in the next two days...so if INdia can last 100 overs, they can save it.

VRV raping himself now.
He's annoyingly raw.

He was just raw in the WI, but its been months and he's still so far off test level. You can see the attributes, but he shouldn't be playing yet. Munaf in for the third test, but that's stating the obvious.

Even if VRV is the coolest batsman around.

He's batted well, fought hard. If you don't think Zaheer bowled a good spell, you're kidding yourself.

Dravid is our key batsman in that case.He played a vital role in saving the first test match gainst england earlier in india. I guess that what will be needed of him.

Also played a vital role in us not winning it. May sound harsh because I love Rahul, but I think he played for the draw too long. The game was safe earlier than he thought.

May be off topic a little, but if SA do set India a total of 300 or something sporting like that (not that chasing 300 is easy), I think India should worry about saving it, but if its there to be one, don't be afraid to. I doubt SA will declare with that lead anyway, they'll want more.

Haha dire, stupid decision to go off. If there's a draw, heads will roll (probably not, just feel like being dramatic).

He has, but you have to bowl well in tandem. Sreesanth hasn't been as good.
Sreesanth hasn't bowled well to Smith I'll agree with that.

He's been good to AB, just hasn't got the nick.

Thing is, SA will never be able to take the light surely? Unless they want to pull an Australia at the Oval, Ashes 2005 and cost themselves the series. So no matter how bad it gets, you'd think unless its legitimately impossible to play, they'll bat on. Advantage to India there.
Smith just taking the light. They'll be happy with a draw, they usually are. Of course, that's advantage to India, too.

It's quite possible that Mickey Arthur's will if they lose the series. Maybe even if they draw it.
