LOL @ the umpires. This is such a farce, I feel sorry for Smith. Don't mind this one bit though. Get off the field boys.

I reckon SA and India are nearly even now in the bad luck books for this match. Rain tomorrow will counter the ****load of poor decisions for the Indian bowlers.

This is crazy. It wasn't that bad on the 1st day...or on the 2nd, or on the 3rd. Not that I mind that Rauf is a joke in this case, but still is ridiculous.

How odd. Did the situation with the floodlights improve? 'Cause otherwise, even though it is a stupid decision by the umps, Smith only has himself to blame for accepting the light before.

Asad Rauf is one of the worst umpires I've ever seen. Him looking at the light meter whilst Sreesanth was running in to bowl was extraordinary. How stupid can one man be?

They come on didn't they?

I had thought that the problem was that a few of them weren't functioning - didn't realise it was all of them.
I believe one maybe two of the lights were still working (half illuminated) when Smith initially went off.

Foxtel needs to get better standby matches, I've seen all of these a hundred times already.
Yes I concur. I think they should invest in some matches which they haven't actually shown live before so we'd get to see something totally different... although that'd probably be a bit costly so they just keep showing the same matches. Second and third tests of the 2005 Ashes get a real workout, as does the match where Symonds scores a ton against NZ, and also the match where Mick Lewis bowls that fluke death over against NZ in the same series. Oh and the famous 400 ODI chase has worked its way into the system a bit recently as well.

Stop whining, I've been up all night and I'm eating breakfast at 7 am before I go to bed.

Or just not go to these standby-filler crap every time there's a break, and let the commentators talk and show replays of the day's play.

Its bloody annoying them going for a break when a team is all out, because I immedieately think they've called lunch or tea, when in fact the batting team are going to face an over or two or something like that.

It's 2am in Melbourne (I think that's where pasag is based but I'm not actually sure to be honest..) as well so it's not like pasag gets ideal viewing times for this match either.
