seeing how well pathan has batted makes me feel that the indian batsmen are in really bad nick. if we had 3 more wickets in hand with Dhoni and Pthan out there, we would have won!! But i guess we cant go on and on about ifs and buts! Indian batsman all need to score at least 20 more run each! Thats justa standard expectation from a normal batsman.
This is not a 'bad nick'. The nick doesn't exist at all. Drop em all I say.

Saffies are making such a mission of getting this last one out.:(
Atmosphere at the ground is something else. The band always gives a lift.

No, he was just disappointed..

Why do people always think a batsman who hangs around at the crease thinks something unfair has happened? Usually its just out of sheer frustration..

Well Played Pathan! A generally good match for him! The rest of the batsmen should be shot! That includes Dhoni; a really bad shot, especially with the situation in hand. I just don't know what he was thinking! He just is not responsible enough and nor are any of the other batsmen apart from Dravid; Tendulkar is not 'bad' so to speak, but we canbot rely on him!

How many Indian fans will watch the last match and the 20/20????? I know i won't watch the last ODI! A pointless game which india will lose! I have better things to do!

Good win by South Africa and what’s more in all three games they have not played that well. Good with the ball up top but the batting has been pretty substandard and they were at least thirty to forty runs short of a good total tonight but they won and they will feel they can only get better from him. As for India pretty much a joke, don’t know what the two wicket keepers were doing (If I was Kaif I would have hit Karthik with my bat or do a Morton on him). Dhoni for all his pomp is a pretty stupid cricketer, he should have know that he was in and should try and stick it like Gibbs did but some of these boys don’t have the temperament for when the going gets tough.

why was sreesanth so upset at the catch ? did he think it was a no ball ??
Looked upset that the ball bounced (not only there), thought he was gesturing the ball was too high (above his waistline).

Looked uncomfortable at the start but he batted pretty well. Though I see the Indians are not trusting him with bowling at the death at the moment, tiny steps I guess.

I reckon India will waltz the Twenty20, proving my point about mediocre cricket prospering in this bastardized format of the beautiful game..

Eh, 20/20 is just like an ODI - except more exciting. If its not going to be a Test match, it doesn't really matter.

I don't see how you can call ODI's a 'beautiful game'.

The thing with likes of Dhoni and Shewag is that they have a positive frame of mind, they will play their shots regardless of situation, like Ponting or Gilchrist do, except the huge difference is that neither are as talented or determined to perform like Ponting or Gilly.

South African squad looks fairly decent, bowling line up does not look that impressive but some of the guys are 'specialists' and know the score. Bat first score heavily (Gibbs and Smith) and just let Tyron do the rest. Also the Indians can't field for **** and fat boy Sehwag, Kumble et cetera will have they work cut out, in this intense form of the game. Looking forward to it!

Considering how Ajit Agarkar holds the record for the fastest man to fifty wickets I agree. ODI do make a habit of promoting mediocrity especially with the ball, evident in how some of the Indian pace bowlers have surprisingly good records.
