What technique is Colonel talking about? He chopped a slightly wide delivery onto the stumps, leaving the team at zero for one when a solid start was needed.

Not for a South African wicket but Jaffer played at the ball like he was batting at Mumbai.

Looked good enough to consistently make runs. His only problem was throwing away starts. Jaffer didn't even get one today. :blink:
