? Did you see the replay? His feet were in the air, and the ball still hit him a little bit above the kneeroll.
Sometimes I seriously don't get Marc.

On the news they are saying it's stumps.
I'll take that back, they are saying Sachin got his 50 arleady, when he's on 46. So lets not trust these idiots and wait for official word.

Assuming this is it for the day, we need to prepare to bat out the day tomorrow. Assuming about 70 overs are bowled, and we score at about 2.5, we should have about 275-285 runs on the board. Which would be decent, if we're to look for a draw.

Hmm yeah, I guess we should forget about a win in this test. Pitch isn't offering too much assistance and neither are the umpires.

If a wicket falls tomorrow early I reckon we send VRV Singh in to bat.

I think we should aim to reach about 350 with not more than 6 wickets down. Try and get a lead of about 70-80 in the first innings overall and hope there's more in the pitch for Kumble by the fourth day.

I'm not sure if thats feasable at this point though. There is not much batting left. Of Ganguly and Dhoni, either can score, but neither would really have a license to score fast as there is not much after that.

So when will the day's play be called off? I'm sleepy.

EDIT: Sweet, play called off.

And why are SA using Pollock as a stock bowler? I know he's not that effective unless the conditions are helpful nowadays, but isn't that more reason to give him the new ball?

Yeah Pollock was the pick of the bowlers even though he didn't get a wicket. He always looked dangerous. Having him 2nd change was silly IMO. Nel is a perfect change bowler.

Nel bowled a good line though, and so did Ntini. I think Sachin has been superb, bar the blemish regarding the loose shot against Hall, because he's countered this disciplined bowling by mixing attacking strokes with solid defense, which he needed to do considering the situation his team is in.

Ugh! This bad light is really pissing me off.

Anyways, not such a bad day for India as many are making it out to be. Tendulkar, now that he is set, should look to go the distance. And hopefully Ganguly and Laxman can accompany him along the way.

Any chance of early play tommorow?

Yes play will start early.

Sachin should get his century (I will hit my self if I just jinxed him)
