I think Barry Richards made a good point though.

Fair enough getting SA all out for say 260-270 would have been good, if they didn't take the light, but the last thing India want is to be 2-11 at stumps with Sehwag and Gambhir back in the shed, and Dravid out there with Laxman because Tendulkar wasn't allowed to or isn't able to bat because of his injury. I reckon right now India are in a good position, and its probably better they don't bat today.

I think either way, they wouldn't have gotten a bat. I mean 30 mins more and the light then would definatly not be good enough to play. So if the innings ended before then, they would have called stumps most likely.

These international batsmen are so spoiled it's ridiculous. Really doubt the light is that bad out there. Anyways, India should benefit from this. In addition to what Jono mentioned, the pitch will dry up for us tomorrow. Also, all of our batsmen will get an opportunity to rest overnight. Good day for India.
