Jaffer gone. Looked better today but he's misread balls on off-stump in the past as well. Good ball by Ntini though it did stay lower than expected.

Ha who is this commentator?, just said that Rahul Dravid is "known as 'the rock' in India" wtf
Earlier, he referred to Dhoni as "Singh Dhoni". Has to be the first person to call him that.

This guy is pretty clueless. :)

LOL, should practice what I preach, was too busy trying to figure out how to end my film essay than pick up the phone and give the spread boys a call. Or maybe Aussie’s prophesies of the super powerful Indian top order firing made me hesitant…

Well, two of India's best ever batsmen at the crease.

If ever Sachin needed to score for his country its today.

Yeah, at least Jaffer and Sehwag were done by very good bowling, if that's any consolidation. *shrugs*

Sehwag was batting sensibly, Pollock was just getting to move it both ways off the pitch which. Definitely not easy to bat on.

I've been awake mate, just watching on the widescreen, didn't feel like coming on to CW.
Cricketweb is the only site in the world that can get Americans to say mate.

It's quite disturbing, I've been picking up the limey vernacular left and right, like 'bloody' and 'mate'. I need to cut that crap out.

Dravid looking a little tentative. He almost never puts the ball in the air like that. Let's hope he can grit his teeth and back through.

A good thing that openers did, even though they didn't score....they lasted some overs so at least the ball was a little worn out when the middle order came. Thats very important IMO. If you can't score runs, at the very least you should stay out there a while.
