also kohli and most test captains don't know how to use 5 pacers if they pick 5
kohli will still bowl bumrah for 7 over spells and not use some bowler at all

5 pacers is almost always less than ideal but on a wicket suited for pacers it's beyond dumb.
I'd play Ashwin + 4 pacers anyway because firstly I don't actually trust Vihari to score any more runs than Ashwin + Ashwin could be really useful if inconsistent bounce comes into play or Thakur loses the plot completely.

Also the fact that a good spinner almost always makes any attack better irrespective of conditions than the 5th seamer.

I know it won't happen but Chahar needs to be tried in tests as a bowling-allrounder. He is being wasted in white ball cricket and he won't go a long way in ODIs/T20s with his lack of death bowling skills. Can be useful in SENA I think.

I don't think pitch will as extreme like last time.. Joburg will get banned by ICC if they pull something like that again.. The previous 3 demerit points have validity till 2023..
