Probably Shami. I think they might give it to Rahul because of how low scoring its been. But that doesnt really reflect that it was quite flat on day 1.

I think Shami stepping up when Bumrah went down injured yesterday was massive though. Kept up the wicket taking threat beautifully.

India feels like the top world Test team currently, comfortably. However, the batting needs constant review because these bowlers can only carry them for so-long and I think are able to carry the batting due to a serious lack of great batting in the opposition. I think they should really think about Iyer or Vihari in for Pujara soon. Kohli's continued lack of runs is very worrying too.
On a more positive note, the three pacers were top quality this match, as usual. They complement each other very well and seem to be experts in extracting movement from old balls or on pitches behaving a bit flat. Thakur as normal was in a supporting role, but an extremely valuable one in the first innings.

I think Kohli was doing the right thing, Ash surely needs some proper spells as a spinner to be effective, but it wasn't possible in this game since there was too much help for the pacers.
